Fitness with a difference - Class include exercises for the upper body, lower body and abs…strengthens, tones and conditions core muscles, using stability ball and weights, reshape Abs while strengthening lower back and stabilizing muscles. Routines will improve posture and develop a strong core. Appropriate for all levels of exercisers.
Yoga - Series of stretches and isometric holds designed to increase flexibility, tone muscles, build core strength and enhance balance. Breathing techniques incorporated to help calm the mind, oxygenate the blood, and relax the body. This class is for mixed levels prior yoga experience is recommended.
Barre Mixer - 50 minutes achieves a full body workout concentrating on areas that women struggle with the most; hips, thighs, seat, abdominals and arms to name a few. Using a combination of postures inspired by ballet, yoga and Pilates, a ballet bar is used to focus on small range of motion, high rep movements that target these areas, resulting in toned muscles. The use of light weights, tubing and a ball also allows us to safely work the muscles to fatigue. Mats are also used for added core work. Experience increased flexibility and balance, improved posture and weight loss while increasing your heart rate. This class is great for just about any fitness level and is not high impact.
Cardio Spin – Come ride with Stacey, Jessica or Megan. Aside from being an excellent cardiovascular exercise, cardio cycle class builds and tones the body as well; the hamstrings, quadriceps, calf muscles, abdominals, triceps and biceps are worked and shaped through riding hard. This class is appropriate for most levels of exerciser. However, all first timers should check in with the Instructor prior to the beginning of class.
Zumba - Zumba is for everyone, every shape and age. All exercisers, from beginner to advanced will enjoy the benefits of a Zumba class. Unique Zumba Latin inspired international music and dance steps create a dynamic exciting and effective exercise experience!
Ballet Barre – This class combines Pilates, yoga and ballet exercises with light weights and the barre to lengthen and strengthen major muscle groups. In addition to sculpting lean muscle, this non-cardio class also helps improve postural alignment and core strength. This class is for all fitness levels.
TRX Total Body - TRX (Total Body Resistance Training) Classes! Appropriate for most levels of fitness. What is TRX? Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. TRX is a system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance to deliver a fast, effective total-body workout.
Gentle Yoga - Series of stretches and isometric holds designed to increase flexibility, tone muscles, build core strength and enhance balance. Breathing techniques incorporated to help calm the mind, oxygenate the blood, and relax the body. Slow to moderate pace classes are offered, accommodating all levels from beginners to seasoned athletes.
YOGAhhhhhhh - This class is designed for relaxation. You will experience deep, rhythmic breathing accompanied by simple stretches. When the mind quiets down the body resolves patterns of tension, then harmony and well-being are naturally restored. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.
Chair Yoga - Chair yoga Workshop- Chair yoga is perfect for those experiencing limited range of motion who find it challenging to transition from seated to standing yoga poses. Working with chairs, we modify poses to assist balance and strengthen muscles. Breathing techniques incorporated to help calm the mind, oxygenate the blood, and relax the body.
Tai Chi - Tai chi is a low-impact and aerobic exercise that is relaxing and can improve mental and emotional health along with physical health. Improves balance, strength, and calmness, and may decrease pain and stiffness. It is a favorite among those with arthritis, cancer, and other debilitating conditions. Tai chi is also good for older adults because it does not involve impact on the joints.
Nia - Nia is a holistic movement practice that engages the body, mind, spirit and emotions. It is a full body cardiovascular workout that tones and trains the body to be strong, flexible and balanced. Nia is well suited for all fitness levels from beginners to the highly fit athlete.
Pilates Fusion – Multi-faceted mat class that draws from the principles of Pilates mat work, resist-a-ball technique and yoga. This strengthening class will allow you to work on getting a stronger core, developed balance & posture, increases muscle tone of the limbs while you lengthen an strengthen your entire body.
Golf Stretch Workshop - Functional Flexibility/Mobility is the ability to move muscles and joints at different angles and ranges of motion specific to the task or athletic movement at hand. This workshop combines golf specific stretching and drills to both strengthen and stretch the body at the many different angles ranges of motion associated with the golf swing. This may be the most important fitness component for a golfer to enhance and maintain. Speed in golf is determined by the ability to accelerate in a controlled fashion. Flexible muscles move faster and help enhance mobility in the joints. This results in increased club head speed and better accuracy.
